Lets look at the points you missed with Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant
Paul gets inside the paint a lot more then Kobe. Its not even close and this is not a knock on Kobe. Chris Paul can simply get inside the free throw line area more then Kobe and more then any other player in the NBA. He's 6-1, cat quick and even if you double team at off that screen at the top of the key, he still finds a way to get inside the paint.
This ability alone would help Lamar get more layups, and 1's, dunks playing with Chris Paul,then with Kobe. That 14 and 20 average would most likely be 18 to 10 points a game. Remember Paul is a PG.
I can make a argument that Lamar actually plays better with Pau Gaso,the with Kobe.
Imagine Gasol, Lamar and Chris Paul. Considering Paul gets inside the paint a lot more then Kobe.
Chris Paul would average 15 assist with this Laker team
