I am, if they were to protest that game and win it would be huge for us right now. Oh well....

From their standpoint, though, maybe they get a better matchup from dropping, or maybe they just didn't want to have to play the game over from that point this close to the playoffs. There's no guarantee that they make the shot if they play it over. On top of that, what are the odds of the NBA replaying it? What would they do if Toronto missed the shot? Play overtime again? They already did that. So if Toronto misses they lose? It just doesn't make sense to play over.

Yup, mostly because the NBA told the Raps they REALLY don't like to be wrong. Like when there's a brawl. Overpunishing is not wrong. Destroying a franchise is okay, because Stern said so. Also, the Knicks get all the breaks.
Protesting would be unnecessary if the Raps held on to a double-digit lead.

Plus if Stern thinks it would screw the Pacers by not playing it again then we all know he wouldnt do it!
