Bucks-Pacers Postgame
Wow....almost two hours after and no postgame thread.....
Well, I was there....and it was a snoozefest. No one cared. No one put out. Herb Kohl tried to help re-retire Johnny Mac's jersey, but I think Herb is losing it. At least no boos for him tonight.
Bogut didn't play great, but again a 20/10 so that is good news. Mo seemed to decide to toss some slick passes so Ramon wouldn't show him up....but neither guy could contain Diener.
Redd was pitiful on defense....he's got to go as well.

That's a shame.

I was going to point that out eventually if someone else didn't.

My mission is to stop caring about the Bucks so much and to find out where January Jones is and to convince her to go out with me.

How can you say Redd's defense is pitiful after that game? Everyone on the roster besides Bogut played like ****. Redd guarded Granger, a guy twice as athletic as him and did a decent job.
The D-Mase/Simmons combo on Dunleavy was the problem.
Oh, and the fact that nobody tried besides Bogut and nobody cared.
And for those who were curious, I ended up negociating with scalpers and got a good deal in my opinion. They wanted $65 each for three $121 dollar tickets but after 10 minutes of intense negociation, I bought them all for $75.

I bet you didn't get them from "Memphis".
That one legged dude is shrewd.

The main reason most would consider Redd's defense as pitiful was the fact that Granger who by all consideration is a 3/4 player sat outside and was still able to drive by redd with ease. The next factor would be Redd's complete inability to recognize or even show any sort of understanding as to where he should be switching to or helping on D. on at least 5 occasions Redd would track back into other defenders instead of rotating to the open man, in fact twice Sessions our rookie pg who has under ten games played was yelling and pointing to Redd as to where to go on these rotations and both times Redd ran straight to Ramon instead of the rotation that was needed. I understand these kinda mistakes are bound to happen every now and then but he has been doing this for the last 2 seasons on a regular game basis.

Granger was not playing the 4 at all. Foster, JO, and Dunleavy took care of the 4 and 5.
And it must not have been too bad if he just scored 13 points. I mean how can you say Redd's defense was pitiful when his guy scored 13 points and Dunleavy scored 26? Don't you think you'd point out that the people guarding Dunleavy played pitiful defense considering they gave up twice as many points? Granger is very athletic and a tough guard for Redd. He gave up 13 points, that's not a big deal....especially last night.

Since nobody made a post game for todays game on I bumped the last game. Lazy. Anyway Bucks suck and nothing has changed. God forbid that we have to watch this team next year, There is no silver lining right now except for Bogut and maybe Sessions. Buyers beware. CV is a fine offensive player, but he has no clue on defense. Redd is in the same boat.

I agree with you. I am not saying he is a go to guy now, but he is the only one who does everything good. Can't really say that about anyone else. Everyone else have major holes in there game. Sessions its early yet and with Yi its early.paulpressey25 wrote:I don't want to bash on Bogut....he's improved a lot.....but if you base your judgement on him in just these last two Pacer games, he's essentially been played to a draw by Jeff Foster.....
This is where next season he's got to learn to shoot FT's.....that is what will make him a 20ppg scorer.
