Mo's contract is no albatross, and he has a lot of skills. I'm hearing over-reactionary statements in here that make him sound like Gadzuric (who we all know has been tradeable anyway), but come on.

Excellent ball handler, blazing fast, scores from anywhere, good passer when compared to sg's, good rebounder. We all know about the negatives, but they don't cause those positives to disappear.

And we've got intelligent posters here implying that while Gadzuric has been tradeable, Mo is not? Because of three or four games?

Michael Redd had a good season for me to poop on.

So a GM who is currently under contract is coming in to interview. Why would his current team allow that (and they have to allow it for it to happen)?
It tells me whoever it is isn't all that great.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

You guys all know what untradeable means. Of course the guy can be moved. The question is whether you get back Anderson Varajao or Damon Jones and Eric Snows dead money. Or whether you have trade options with one team or eight teams.

Woeffel's point, which IMO is very accurate, is that Mo's five years and 44 million remaining isn't something real enticing to teams given his issues here the last three months.

I can't defend his remarks on Redd. That is typical Woeffel playing organizational man. Redd's stats will look great at year end. His actual play on the court-crap. That guy was a dog last night but you wouldn't know it from the boxscore. And his contract is Zach Randolph-esque.

I think trading mo for big guy that can play the 4/5 behind bogut and yi while adding tougness would be the best route.

I would love to ship Mo for Haslem, or possibly to the Cavs for something like:

Mo
Gadzuric
To the Cavs:
For
Varejao
Sczerbiak

(something like that, didn't trade check it)

I think Mo would be a great fit with the Cavs and a move to make Lebron happy.

Maybe the gm is Billy Knight.[which i wouldn't mind] I think mo would be a great fit [as a sixth man ] on an experienced team with a respected coach.
it's always funny............... TILL I GET HURT!!!!

if they can give us Joe Smith back I would be happy.

maybe a mo for Joe Smith, Damon Jones, and future 1st round pick.

we can reunite jones, redd, mason, and smith .....now that team had some great chemistry.

plus Smith and Jones have 1 more year on there contracts so this would be a great rebuilding trade.

If we're making single trade this summer, and it's a Mo trade, it's got to be Mo for Nocioni.

this is a little OT but over the last couple of years Woeffel has not been a very creditable source. He has not been right on nothing the last time he has been right it wasn't even about the bucks it was the Bulls/Blazers draft day trade. ...the only reason I read his stuff because he is the only one who writes anything about the bucks....this city sucks.

Redd actually did have a good year this year. Not sure what you guys are expecting out of him, but he raised his team play as well as assists and rebounds.
He is sharing the ball more this year (obviously no Kobe or Lebron type sharing)

Keep Redd, Bogut, Yi, Dez and Sessions. Get rid of everyone else.

I would make this trade in a second, no way in hell the Bulls do.....they are supposedly looking to dump a guard.

Good point here about chemistry. I'd love to get Joe Smith back, although our need for a bnager down low would still be great, but maybe it will force bogut to continue to make strides in that regard.

I'm not sure about bringing back Damon jones though, as he's gotten quite the ego since his last stint here and I'm not sure having a shoot first guard in a contract year like him would be a great thing. I'd much rather take back Eric Snow, as he'd at least provide some leadership regarding defense even if he has no gas left in the tank.

Said he talked with some people around the league.....Mo Williams may now be untradeable given his drop off in play and big contract.....

Said he thinks Redd and Bogut are only two untouchables since they've had "good years"

Woeffel said that John Hammond is very interested in the GM job but doesn't want to go through the interview process. Wants to be given the job.

Said established GM is coming in for interview next week but Woeffel doesn't know his name.......is trying to find out. But implied this guy is a current GM somewhere else.

BTW---Props to Mike Wickett who is hosting the postgame show. He asked a ton of really good questions of Gery. Did a nice job.
We have to find a way to move Mo Williams, and get a PG in here to pair with Sessions that can help this team win. There has to be a team that is interested in taking Mo and giving us back something in return whi could be a player and made a pick.

John Hammond's name has been brought up so many times for GM positions, and I think I can understand why he wouldn't want to "show interest" to later be shot down. Think of it this way... from everything that has been reported Hammond has interviewed or been the subject of interest for a number of vacant GM positions in the past. Most of the positions have ended with someone else getting the job. Perhaps he is thinking (like some women the whole "always a brides maid and never a bride" thing) he doesn't want to put himself out there to be rejected.. so offer me the job based on my track record and reputation around the league or leave me alone. I don't know whether I would go that route in trying to get a GM position.. but perhaps that's where he is mentally right now? :dontknow:

Jones is not a shoot first point guard by any means. He can hit the open three but never does he come down and just jack up shots. I would take him back in a heartbeat. Harris stated numerous times that letting Jones go was a mistake.

Plus if you remember the chemistry that Jones and Mason had it was among the best in the NBA. There are a lot of Jones hater because they dont like his swagger and that at times he takes after his buddy Sam Cassell but to be honest he would be a good for this team...I have no doubt in my mind.

Woeffel's a big fan of Redd and considers him easily the Bucks best player.

I really don't get it.

Or because of his atrocious defense.

Ok then who on this team is a better player, right now then Redd? Not better potential but who is actually better? Nobody. Redd is the best player on this team. I think that should be fairly obvious to most.

I wouldn't trade Bogut for a Redd like player---he's easily our best player now. It's extremely hard to find big men who are great defenders and have a high bball iq like him, and even if he never improves he's still better.
