I voted for Gil, because he's back and I'm blinded with joy. I just hope Antawn can get back sooner rather than later.

CButler played well though, as did Blatche.

Honorable Mention - DeShawn for toughing it out thru the ankle.

I put Stevenson first; very bad ankle, but still hit the early 3s that were key to resetting the tone from where Miami actually had the edge early -- and he played the full game; and he gave away little on defense, where moving laterally on that ankle is a necessity.

Didn't see the game. I can't seem to find internet streams of the games anymore. Guess I'll have to spring for League Pass next year.

Anyhow, it looks like Butler had the best stat line of the night.

Question: Haywood had the best on/off ratio of the night by far. The team was +21 with him on the floor, and -7 when he sat. Was that just a coincidence or was he doing the right things out there? I figure EJ wouldn't have given him 39 minutes if he was slacking on D or on the glass. He had 4 blocks, but he had just 8 boards in 39 minutes. Was Haywood playing like the Haywood of old, or was he a step slow like the Haywood of March?

Blatche and Arenas had extremely efficient stat lines, but it's pretty hard to get excited about it. They played against Miami's backups. They were, literally, a bunch of D-Leaguers. However, I gotta give Arenas props for dishing out so many assists. It sounds like he had some really nice ones.

Per-40, DSong was on his way to 17 points, 12 boards, 9 assists and 3 steals. He played just 28 minutes.

1. Butler
2. Arenas
3. Haywood

Didn't see the game but I voted for Gil because of the assists. Probably should have voted for Caron, though.

8 assists in 20 minutes is ridiculous. When Arenas entered the game, the Wizards really broke it open

Per-40, Gilbert would have had 26 points, 16 assists, and 10 rebounds.

The team came to life when Arenas entered the game. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be surprised if we've lost that game.

True. But he was doing against D-Leaguers, literally.

And DS wasn't? Seriously, I don't how you can distinguish the Miami bench from the Miami starters. Not to mention, both guards played virtually every minute of the game anyways.
