I disagree...the NBA, David Stern :wavefinger: & Lebron won't allow that to happen. Lebron will just walk into Danny Ferry's office & demand to get new talent before they hit rock bottom like the HEAT

Or he will walk in the games & get no call :banghead:

I understand where you are coming from, but didn't Miami have Shaq play part time GM? If Cleveland loses in the first round Lebron can walk into any office ,even Sterns, and it wont help them. A first round loss will only make them look , for a lack of a better word, "lucky" to have gotten to the finals in 07.

Cleveland looks like they will be on the fall next year.

good win.

i like the core. but HEDO is the key player now and IMO he will be in the play-off games. keep good work and stay healthy.

I really enjoyed the ESPN announcers comments on the Magic. How many times did they say Hedo should be MIP? And give stats to support it. They did note the lack of respect the Magic have received. And the discussion of what it would take to get Dwight to start playing. Somebody hitting him? My thought was the best thing would be to make him listen to the half-time comments on his play.

LOL at this comment from SVG.

I may have expressed some mild disappointment at halftime because in the last two games combined, we gave up 46 offensive rebounds.

During the game, Rick Carlisle had an interesting persective about why teams like the Magic can have better road records than at home.

He said that, for whatever reasons, some teams feel more pressure to play for the home crowd. Rick Bucher stepped in and said he knows that there is tremendous pressure on the Magic players after the money they spent in the offseason and also bringing in Rashard. He said that especially because the Magic never have won a title, that the players really feel that the fans in Orlando just expect a title now. I'd say he's probably right on that with our team.

Carlisle said there are other reasons, too -- like they just relax and expect to win at home, or sometimes it's the way the schedule works out and how it affects the team's energy and health. He said you absolutely want home court for the playoffs regardless, though.

Or at least, that's what ESPN will insinuate during SC highlights.

Well, I'm not going to say it's the reason the Magic won, but he's had similar final quarters in a couple other games the past couple weeks, and he's said that he just can't keep it loose up by the end of the game and do some of the things that he is accustomed to doing. It's not like it's only this game he has talked about it. LeBron's back has been bothering him, and we saw with Tracy how that can hamper a guy. Again, I'm not saying it's the reason the Magic won -- but it made it a little easier for them to win.

Team USA should be worried. Dwyane Wade has yet to return to form. Carmelo Anthony's shoulder is bothering him. LeBron James is having problems with his back......
