Apparently they are something like 0-11 against teams above .500 after the Kidd trade.

Dirk made some amazing shots against the Lakers but they really relied on him a lot in the 4th qtr and he had a couple of plays down the stretch that really cost them. Having said that without him they wouldn't have even been in it.

Surprisingly they showed some real brain explosions down the stretch. JHo gets T'ed at a critical stage and Dampier goes to double and leaves the middle wide open for Lamar first and then Pau (and1) and that was the ball game.

I just think we match up against these guys really well. Amare just has to really stay with Dirk and make sure he doesn't get hot from outside and destroy us. Would really like to see Diaw on him for most of the night.

What happened to Dallas's bench? They were the "deepest team in the league" 1.5 years ago.

think they have to be hot, just because of the fact that they can miss the playoffs. they have to win every game, so they are going to be a tough, hot team....

btw, go out and win...

I think Dirk is a fine player, and hits big shots...but he just isnt a leader, which is the primary reason that Mavs aren't that good. The assembly of player around Dirk arent cohesive defensively...and to be honest...the only thing holding the Mav's back is the fire (talent like that just doesnt lose this frequently!)

Regardless, they have too much talent to be slept on.

Lets. Do. This.

Hope we don't take them lightly, this might be just the sort of game they want to make a statement.

We got another Mavs abuser on the team in Shaq. IIRC the team Big Daddy averages the highest PPG against over his career is the Chokers.
Then of course he also made their ghey frontcourt his beyatch in the 2006 NBA finals...

Just smash those losers inside, Erika/Chokewitzki is a god-awful excuse of an answer for Shaq/Amare!

At least the Kidd-Nash matchup shud be a fun watch, as usual

The Mavs really deserve to be punished for choking away that game to the Lakers. :nonono:

I'm not spending a dime on the NBA because of this junk.
Suns fan during the KJ era (Coliseum), through the Barkley era (Am West Arena), and now the Nash era (US Airways Arena)!
