Darrell Arthur?
He seems to be tanking on numerous draft boards. I know he didn't have his best performances of late, but being frozen out by Kansas' guards certainly didn't help. What's the opinion about him?

You think he is a good rebounder? He seems pretty poor in that area.

He reminds me of a Joe Smith type of player (not the prime Joe where he put up good numbers, a litte later in the career). Solid rotation player that any team would love, but I don't know how high you take a guy like that. He's still in my top 15 for sure, though.

R.I.P Red , Norm, Bullsmaniac, and pdenninggolden.

No doubt about it.
I don't have the vivid memories of Smith at Maryland that I do of Glenn Robinson or Chris Webber (I grew up in Big Ten territory), but I can tell you that Arthur has much more of an upside than the blue-collar roleplayer Joe Smith has become. Not that he's as likely to evolve into a blue-collar roleplayer, but he certainly has some athletic gifts/skill that Smith rarely if ever utilized.

I think he's better than Julian Wright and he went in the lottery IIRC.
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

Arthur has a huge potential money making game on the line Monday, but lets say he gives about what he has this year (12 and 6) and plays decent defense on the Double D's of Memphis, he will go teens. That stretches as high as 10 or 11, but I don't see how teams like Philly, Cleveland or Phoenix all pass on him.

Plus, watching that game against UNC, I really noticed (as did everyone) how poor Kansas is at decision making and how quickly they will abandon the post game, so its safe to say that if they were committed year round, every game, to getting Arthur touches than he would put up better numbers. I like his game more than Love because they are about even in terms of what you get right now and then in five years Arthur could be a potential top PF in your conference and I don't see Love as more than serviceable starter.

You're right about the Sixers. As a fan, he's on our short list with Ibaka, Jason Thompson, Robin Lopez, Thabeet, & D Green. He could easily be there at 16/17.

Terp fan here - Joe Smith was limited by his very thin frame - not his athleticism. Arthur has a bigger frame to add size than Smith had at the same age - Joe was 210 as a junior. But he's still got to add a good 20 lbs of muscle to become a primetime NBA PF. I think he has the frame to do it - without losing athleticism. He should work on that turnaround jumpshot he flashed once last night. It could be a signature move for him - ala Elvin Hayes.

Not sure where either player will be in 5 years but you think Arthur is better than Love right now?, that is pretty bazaar to me.
