ok, here we go ... Mavs will win this one. Why? because I am in the winning mood. Lets see if Avery can adjust during the game or even if he has to. Go Mavs

Every game matters at this point, not to mention it is in Phoenix. If the Mavs play with the intensity that the played with against the Warriors and for most of that Los Angeles game then they should be in good shape.

Golden State just lost to the Hornets.

Our Magic # is 4 with Golden State and 6 with Denver.
If we win today, it would be 3 and 5 respectivley.

Edit MN with Denver is 6, not 5 due to the tirebreaker.

Go Mavs, nice thread foty!
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

LOL Avery calling out a play => bad shot for Dallas, PHX goes on mini run

I dont get it, right in the moment Terry started to push the ball, sth i havent seen him doing as a PG since ... forever, he jumps up and destroys the flow

btw Terry really stepped up his game the last couple of games, esp his ballhandling and shooting

Bass is on Shaq

Maybe Avery considers to put Magloire on him, if not just for feeling better that a 7-footer fouls Shaq rather a 6-8 or sth guy

Getting outplayed and now within four. Lucky...

The commentators give credit to Avery for adjusting and giving the ball into Dirks hand, bringing the ball up and calling plays and such.

I think Dirk just got pissed...

Great win for the Mavs. Dirk was amazing late in the game, which is good to see. They should be very excited about this win. This si what happens when Malik Allen doesnt suit up.

Can somebody explain to me what Avery was thinking having Bass on Shaq when when Amare was on the bench and having Damp on Amare when Shaq was on the bench? Bass played great D on Amare and Damp played great D on Shaq!

Good thing he fixed that late in the 4th.

Gotta give the Mavs some 4th quarter cred!

Woowee, great game, no great second half. Dirk was amazing in the fourth, always stepping up against Phoenix. :)

He was! And he played good the other quarters too. HE is the POG, but I'm waiting for YDM to start the thread so he doesn't feel mistreated. Don't want to destroy his "you know the drill" thunder.
