the Marvin pick wasn't so bad, because Marvin and Bogut where ranked as the best prospects at the time of the draft...... Shelden Williams is probably the worst offense by BK

Yeah he really ruined this franchise when he built it from the ground up getting rid of nightmare contracts and a roster that was going nowhere to building the most talented young roster in the Eastern Conference and 2nd to the Blazers in the NBA.

I can't hate him for the Marvin pick. In hindisght, it wasn't a good move, but most people were very high on Marvin at the time. Plus, I still think Marvin will turn into a very good player. He has been showing a lot of progress recently.

yeah i can't be mad at the marvin pick (i admit i like him even as a good role player). and the childress pick still looks like a good one. the only one i couldn't stand was the sheldon pick which looked bad in every way. kinda like we settled for a sorry player when the good one was right in our faces. thankfully he led to bibby though so we got something out of it.

You're exactly right about what an excellent job he did blowing up the old regime's mess. I was a HUGE fan of Knight's in the beginning. I thought he was a borderline-genius. It's what he did after that that made me lose faith.

True, he's put together a competitive team. But, my grandmother could have created a competitive young team out of those draft picks. Between 2004-2006, we had 3 top five picks in a row. And he blew ALL THREE OF THEM. If he makes the right choices there, we are competing for a championship THIS YEAR. Instead, we have a team that is sneaking into the 8th spot of the worst conference in recent memory. And I'll never excuse him for that. We had a chance to win a title, and his incompetence cost us that chance.

Wow, big time disagreement with you on that one. Look Monta is a stud scorer, no denying that. He's also a 6'3 guard with a slight frame and limited point guard skills. He is definitely a shooting guard which means he's gonna have to be teamed up with a big pg to not be a liability.

This I agree with a lot... especially 1 and 3 (2 has stopped since we got a point guard).

When he looks to go all the way to the hoop and dunk the ball he looks like Amare or Kemp (before he got fat).

I'd be curious to see what Josh looked like in the same situation as one of those guys, where he was just asked to catch the ball in the high post and blow by one player and dunk.
