Everything has been considered including B2B and 4N5 situations to my predictions. Denver lost and we won last night. So far, I am batting 1.000! I doubt that holds up long. Golden State and Denver have tough games tonight. We'll see what happens...
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

48 - @ Port 4/12
49 - @ OKC 4/13 (Last game in Seattle?!?)
50 - @ NO 4/16 (New Orleans rests their starters)

This would also mean losses to Golden State, @ Fakers, @ Suns, and the Jazz

This would mean that Denver and Golden State would have to win 6 games each to knock us out and get them in...

But, judging by both Denver and Golden State's schedules, I say that each team can also only win 5 a piece. I believe this will put the Mavs in the 8th seed in the playoffs due to tiebreakers.

---

Denver's prospective wins would go as follows:

46 - vs. Sac 4/5
47 - @ OKC 4/6
48 - @ LA Clips 4/8
49 - @ GS 4/10
50 - vs. Mem 4/16

They would lose to @ Pho, Pho, @ Uta, and Hou

---

Golden State's prospective wins would go as follows:

46 - @ Dal 4/2
47 - @ Mem 4/4
48 - vs. Sac 4/8
49 - vs. LA Clips 4/12
50 - vs. OKC (final game as the Seattle Sonics) 4/16

They would lose to @ SA, @ NO, Den, and @ Pho

---

My prediction is all three teams end up with 50 wins. Two end up in the playoffs and one ends up in the lottery... It looks like we will be going to the playoffs and we will be 1-14 against teams with a record .500 or better going into the playoffs (since the Kidd trade) all because New Orleans would rest their starters on the last game of the season... Otherwise, it would be 0-15... Wow...

I was incorrect about Denver losing B2B games to the Suns. They won last night giving my first incorrect prediction. I knew it would happen sooner or later. My bet is Denver makes up for it by losing to either Sac, OKC, or da Clips. We shall see...

Except for the game tonight and and the last Mav game, all your other preditions have the team with the higher winning % winning the game.

That would be a boring outcome. if no "upsets" happen.

I was thankfully incorrect about last night's outcome. This game may catapult us higher than 7. Looks like Houston could be in a free fall and with possible wins @ the Fakers and @ the Suns along with possibly winning against the Jazz in a pivotal home game would mean that the Mavs would win all their games remaining and could end up the 5th seed and hosting Utah! Now, that would be interesting.

I am now predicting from March 31 (Clips) on out that we go undefeated. 9-0. We are 2-0. We beat our over .500 team. We're over the hump. We're playing like we got the Westphal baby! That's what I'm talking about!

if the Lakers don't take the top seed in the west, I would love to see the Mavs redeem themselves if they get the 8th spot and beat the top seed be it the Spurs or the Horneys.

I would love to see the Mavs as any seed upset the favored Fakers team in the playoffs while exercising our demons of playoffs past.

Now that would be suh-WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!

Oh, I don't care who it is - let's upset somebody!

Just a usless update...

Before resurfacing this thread, Dallas was 78%, Denver 7% and GSW 14%.

Less than an hour later, the poll now looks like 72% Dallas, 8% Denver and GSW 19%

Seattle up 97-95 against Denver after 3 quarters. Hopefully they can pull it out.

2 Game lead on Denver and Golden State.

Magic Number is now 3 on Golden State and 4 on Denver

One of those is guaranteed to go down because they play each other.
