It really does hurt to lose, but I just know that it's for the best.

I was just thinking the same thing. For me, this is the LEAST painful loss of the season for me. I suppose it doesn't hurt that I have Gay on my fantasy team, but ...

I am also happy the Wolves aren't just tanking. They had Al and Jaric out there at the end.

NYK up 6 on ORL, late in the third quarter.

Still, when I look at how much advantage the lottery system puts in a 3rd seed versus a 4th seed, this loss doesn't smart as much.

I hate the days where both the twins and wolves lose. Although, i can handle the wolves loss better because like big stated, it's for the best.

Wait, isn't having Jaric on your team pretty much tanking to begin with?

Wittman was also saying after the game how much he wanted to win, to pass the next team in front of him. I am completely opposed to tanking, but tonight I'll just say that I'm happier to see MEM and NYK both win. I can root for both teams (when they don't play the wolves), with a clear conscience.

well you're celebrating and we're pissed. i think that makes sense. we both want draft position but it seems like you've taken this. 2 games up with 5 left. you got this. congrats on the 3rd spot.

not that youre any different then us wolves fans...

but to the fact that we're resorting to saying "we need this loss" just makes this whole draft lottery a laughing matter.

to be honest, we need either of the top 2 picks more than any other team in the league and i think you can agree with that as well.

If you're looking for agreement with that statement, you're on the wrong board.

Wolves have had worse luck then any team in the lottery. Atleast your teams moved up and won it once. We missed out on shaq when he shouldve been ours, and last year Oden and Durant get stuck in our division.

Now if your referring to for putting more money into Sterns pocket, yes the Knicks getting a top 2 pick would be the way to go.

you have al jefferson. we have...david lee? in terms of franchise talent, we have none. but i get the viewpoint from different fans. everyone thinks they deserve the top pick and rightfully so.
