Unsung hero: Erick Dampier. His statline sucked (8 pts, 6 reb, 1 blk, 5 fouls) but he rendered Shaq useless. It was Bass that could not contain Shaq, though it was the complete opposite on Amare.

Obviously Dirk again. Some incredible shots, glad he could pull it out.

Also I thought Kidd did great defensively on Nash.

Dirk was POG, but Deavon George did a great job D'ing up on Amare in the 4th quarter... completely took him out of the game for the most part. Suns pick'n'roll was useless because George was all over Amare denying him the ball.

Yep...though Avery's decision to put JET back in the ballgame for George almost cost us dearly.

Sorry I wasn't at the puter to make the thread. Thanks to soser for makin' it...

POG is Dirk but Kidd is a close second. His defense on the Nashty one, the steals, the blocks, the everything but the triple double was phenomenal. The game itself was won on defense, holding the Nashty ones to only 9 in the fourth. Damp (on Shaq) and Bass (on Amare) Kidd (on the Nashty one) deserve a lot of credit. We stole this one and may have turned our whole season around because of it. We are probably stuck at the 7th seed, but I still say we win out! What do ya say?

Dirk is obviously the POG, but without Kidd's 4 steals and 4 blocks the Mavs don't even come close.

Let's face it, there are a few players that could qualify in one way or another. Dirk just took it over in his second game back from a high ankle sprain! WOW!
