I like Powe but his utter lack of A/S/B kinda worries me. He literally scores and rebounds and that's it (although I don't know much about his man D). He's damn near getting a Curry line. I do like him, I just think he might not be all-around enough, not to mention too foul-prone, to be a star player. Then again, there were probably similar doubts about Al Jefferson but I need to see more versatility and consistency out of Powe.
Big Baby reminds me of Oliver Miller. Hopefully the whole weight thing doesn't have the same results...
Any thoughts on the Celtics young bigs Powe n Big Baby Davis

Leon Powe is an excellent rebounder so I don't know how you can compare him to Eddy Curry who is an awful rebounder for his size. Powe is also a pretty good defender...he is excellent in drawing charges.
I think Powe has Udonis Haslem like potential. They are both extremely hard workers, good rebounders and get a lot of hustle stuff. Powe has to work on developing his 15-17 foot jumper which he has started to occasionally hit.

The Curry Line doesn't refer to rebounding. It's when a player gets more turnovers than assists, steals and blocks combined.
As I said, I like Powe, I just think it'd be encouraging to see his assist and blocked shot averages go up.

I don't think it is really a question of Powe being a star or not. He's not really on the star path. The big question is could he be a 5th best starter on a good team in a few years. Or 6th man on a good team.
The other question is what could these guys fetch in a trade? From a Cs stand point, I think Ainge might hope for a future pick and to get rid of Scals contract as a decent return. I mean there are way to many varibles to really talk about this i giess such as who they can sign and resign.
Here is a question though, can fans of other teams come up with any trade the celtics might go for for one of Powe or Baby combined with Scal or perhaps a resigned Tony Allen?
