Some might like Iggy's all around game better, but I personally would prefer Martin's go-to-guy scoring mentality.

REALLY depends on team needs. Martin has the ability to be a first option, an efficient 25+ ppg scorer, whereas Iggy is better suited to being the second option, but he's clearly the better play maker, passer, rebounder and defender (when he puts the effort in).
I'm a big Kevin Martin fan, so I'd actually take him, but I see this as a pretty even comparison.

His all around game is overrated, He gambles way too much in the passing lanes, gets lazy on rotations, shaky jumper, hes very passive, not discipline passer........

i take martin.

Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

This is even more proof of how shamefully under-rated Igoudala is

There is nothing shameful to take Martin over Iggy, really.

Neither is a #1 option on a successful team, so I would take whichever one has a smaller contract. Right now that is Iggy, but more than likely that will change when he gets some insane extension this summer. That extension will end up costing them Thaddeus Young.

Before this season I would have leaned slightly towards Iggy but would have thought strongly about taking Martin, but Iguodala is playing even better than he did before.

Martin is a better shooter, but in my opinion, Iguodala impacts the game in too many ways to not take him.

He guards the opponents best offensive player on a regular basis.

He's cut down his turnovers and has an AST/TO ratio of better than 1.75. (compare to Martin's less than 1 AST/TO ratio).

For a SG/SF, he's a good rebounder.

And now he's averaging 20 ppg and he's come up huge in the clutch against good teams in a playoff race. He wasn't as aggressive in the past, but now he's asking for the ball in crunch time and making those shots.

How do you figure? We'll still be under the cap even after Andre gets his "insane" extension this summer, and our owners have deep pockets anyway. By the way, I'm not so sure his extension will be as much as you think considering there really isn't anybody out there that can make him a huge offer, so he really has no leverage in the matter.

I would take Iguodala because of his D. I do agree I don't think either of these guys can be the best player on a great team.
