07/08: 37.3 mpg, 19.6 ppg, 45% fg, 41% 3pfg

LaMarcus Aldridge
06/07: 22.1 mpg, 9.0 ppg, 50% fg, 5 rpg
07/08: 34.6 mpg, 17.8 ppg, 49% fg, 7.4 rpg

Jose Calderon

Defintely Hedo...

Kaman with a close second but he benefited from Brand being out for so long

Either Rudy Gay or LaMarcus will win it next year

Plus Hedo has improved on every single stat

Assists, rebounds, 3's, turnovers, has 2 double doubles this year, and 3 game winning buzzer beaters.

I think Eddy Curry is most improved for the Total of Cheeseburgers eaten a season and also the Fries per Shake ratio has been out of the sky.

MIP = Eddy "Cheeseburger" Curry

I'd give it to Hedo Turkoglu.

It's been HIS play that has elevated the Magic to #3 seed in the East this season.

it should be hedo and the one thing that i believe should be taken into account that goes beyond those stats is that out of all those players hedo is the one guy who came out of nowhere to become the first OFFENSIVE scoring option even in a team where he was supposed to be the 3rd option at best. also ppl forget kaman has had some very nice campaigns in the past so his improvement is really not that drastic.

Rudy Gay:

PPG: +9.4
fg%: +4%
RPG: +1.6

His steals and assists are also up. I don't see how he isn't the obvious choice, let alone even mentioned, unless you're opposed to soph's getting MIP, in which case LA isn't in the running either.

i don't get why second year players get this award...they are suppose to improve (minus one rap player that shall remain nameless...)

I have to go with Kaman... he's averaging close to 16 pts 13 rebs and 3 blks per game for godsake. :o

You can say he did it because Brand was out, but wouldn't you want your big man to step up when an injury occurs?

All four are definitely deserving of consideration.... but Chris has been unreal this year.
