Wolves April Mock Draft?

I haven't weighed in on these threads because I don't follow college basketball closely enough to make a valid pick. However, in this case, I will:
Bayless
7. Love (4), Gordon (1), Jordan (6), Bayless (6)
Look, I've heard the arguments of drafting what the Wovles need most, versus drafting the best available player, and there have been points made on either side. But don't forget the most important:
YOU CAN TRADE YOUR PLAYER
(never thought that would be shrink's take, huh?)
Even if you're a Jordan fan, few teams would pick him in front of Bayless. If we pick Bayless, chances are we can trade him later in the draft for Jordan PLUS something. And even if we can't, Bayless has more trade value to acquire someone else. Think we could trade Jordan to CHI for Noah? That's impossible. Bayless for Noah? Probably still need to add a little more, but if they plucked Thabeet later in the draft, now you're in the ballpark.
My point is that the players you draft don't have to be seen as being locked in for the next four years. McHale has shown he's willing to make draft day trades (Craig Smith, Foye/Roy, Marbury/Allen), and unless there is a very convincing argument, I think taking the best available player is almost always the best option, particularly for early lottery picks.

Long time lurker first time poster here, I guess this as good as any thread to start posting.
I like the first 6 picks so far the only 2 I haven't seen play is Randlolph and Gallinari but I've heard enough about them on here to where I would be good with them too.
I gotta go with the seven foot athlete here don't really like anyone else this low.

Most probably can't pick this low unless we trade down, so can see this being un-neccesary.
That being said....

A value pick, had considered Batum due to more size and ability to play the 2 or 3 spot, regardless, shouldn't have to worry this late in the lottery.
Also, the other project centers could start entering into the fray for us around here or so.
