yeah the lakers can win 70 games providing that Kobe becomes better than Jordan, Bynum becomes better than Hakeem, and Gasol becomes better than Tim, then Odom becomes better than Wilt and Russell combine.

82 I think will be a possibility.

I didn't hide my intentions. Read the OP again. I wasn't pretending ****. As far as the rest of your victim/martyr post, please just get off the cross. No one is spending any time actively hating the Lakers, at least not me, so you just wasted alot of time.

ILikeTheGrizz I feel that most of your dislike towards us stems from the newly aquired Kwame Brown and should be directed to your management not laker fans. Losing your best player is not a fun experiece but you shouldnt lose it to the point that you hold a vendetta against the purple and gold.

I don't dislike the Lakers. And we kept Rudy Gay, actually.

I remember there was a time where the Lakers won maybe 8 of 9 games. Who did they lose to? Boston. Boston beat them by 20 in their fourth game in 5 days without Rondo playing. How are the Lakers a better team than Boston? They haven't done anything that shows they are better, so people have nothing to base this on. 70 wins is always a possibility. They've given up around 101.8 ppg, yet I hear that their defense is very good. I'm pretty sure that puts them in the bottom half for defense. Gasol certainly doesn't help as far as defense goes. If they can prove to be a top-notch defensive team, then I think they have a shot. Otherwise, I don't see 70 as a possibility.

They played Boston in November and December....the team was still coming together. It's a completely different team now. As far as defense goes, with Bynum and Ariza healthy the defense is top notch. Yes Gasol does jack **** for defense, but Bynum swats and plays good man to man d. I do agree with you that 70 might be a bit much though. I'm thinking more in the 60-65 range.
