Joe Johnson recorded 22 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the floor on April 5 as the Hawks inched closer to their first playoff berth since 1999.

JJ deserves every acolade possible right now. It's not just the points either, he has also been fantastic defensively.

I'm happy for JJ. While he's still dealing with an extensive amount of pressure I feel Mike Bibby has helped very much, and even some of the rest of the Hawks have taken some of the pressure off JJ. I hope Josh Smith can demand a double team more next season.
