Watching Rose do a great up and under move in the high post gave me visions of Andre Miller with + athletesism. I know his PG skills have been questioned, but the guy is a winner (or at least picks good teammates.)

This should be a great game. I've got Memphis winning in OT.

I thought about Carney when I saw Douglas-Roberts go off in that game against UCLA. His game is much more polished, and he is a beast.

Brian Westbrook looked really good too.

I'm also not very high on Collison anymore.

Kansas by double digits... There basically an NBA team playing at the college level... I give MEM the coaching edge, but that's about it...

I picked Kansas in my pool sheet, but I want see Memphis win it. CDR and Rose and VERY impressive. No doubt CDR is better than Carney. I think it will be a great game and Memphis will pullout in a close one. I really impressed with Kansas depth, Memphis has the best players (Rose and CDR).

Rush could be a nice addition to the Sixers as SG, especially as 2nd round pick (if he last that long) and get PF in the 1st round..

Everybody watch the Sixers future PF in this game.... Darrell Aruthur.

Also Brandon Rush wouldn't be a bad pickup in the second round either, he could come in and replace Willie when we trade him.

But i'm watching Arthur alot, when I watched the UNC game, he was very active, he just doesn't get the ball much, Kansas seems to just jack alot of shots, and their guards just basically drive relentlessly into the lane without even thinking about post play.

Arthur got his hands on alot of balls, he D'ed up Hansborough pretty well, and his length, athlethicsm and IQ helped Kansas play really smoothering defense.

I can see Arthur fitting into this team really well next year and eventually polishing his rebounding, post moves and shooting turning into a 16-18/9-10 type player, but with very good defense.

And btw he's only 20 years old.

I hate brandon Rush. He is so overated IMO. I have watched him a lot over the last 3 years and I just don't get what people see. I don't think he has improved at all as a player in that time. If anything I think he's getting worse. His shooting accuracy is horrible in college so just imagine how bad it will be in the pros. I hear all these announcers talk about how smart he is a player and to be honest, I see the exact opposite. I see poor shots and just all around poor decision making. He's very turnover prone when he puts the ball on the floor. I don't know, maybe I'm just being hard on his, but I wouldn't waste even a 2nd rd pick on him.

Half-time and Kansas is up. It's good to see that it's a close game instead of the blowouts we had on Saturday.

By the way, my boy and our future 1st rd pick, Darrell Arthur, has 10 of Kansas' 33 first half points. I forget who wrote it (maybe Chad Ford) wrote that some NBA scouts believe that Arthur's game may be better suited for the pro game and that as a mid-round pick, he could be a steal.

I agree 100% with that. The Kansas guards do a very poor job of feeding the post so I think his offense will be better in the pros (especially if he is playing with a pass first PG like Miller). The only question I have about his post game has to do with his ability to hold his position when trying to set up on the block. He's not great at that right now...he seems to give up on his position very quickly and keeps moving trying to find another spot...makes me question his strength down there. Biggest area he needs to improve is his defensive rebounding position imo.

I was very impressed with Arthur. Was curious to see that NBAdraft.net has him going 19th in the draft yet ESPN has him ranked as the 2nd best PF prospect. I think he has good touch around the basic and he has a PF frame, reminds me of Horford.

Arthur's worth the risk at where we're picking. I was very unsure of him when we were in the 10-12 range. At where we are now, there might not be a player with more upside. He has prototypical PF athleticism and skills. He works hard for offensive rebounding position, but he really needs to work on defensive rebounding. But that's improvable.

Again, if we draft Arthur... my interest in obtaining an older PF like Jamison would increase. Either way, I'm sure we'll have at least a month to discuss that sort of thing.

Rose seems to be coming up big in these final 10 minutes.

Rose is just going to be incredible. He'll start from the get-go, and be an all-star before he's 23 (especially if he goes east and doesn't have to contend with Paul/Deron).
