Even if you have some hatred of Nellie because of how he has handled his rotations this year, you can't deny the fact that he has 40 years of nba experience has put his fingerprint on the game, which should make him a hall-of-fame member.
He should be in the Hall... no one's going to deny him that... he developed a gimmick that had a lot more success than the others, but could never get the personnel to make it work. Mainly because the key personnel in his gimmicky offense are far more rare than the ones in traditional offenses, but I digress...
Does that mean we should want him to coach next year? Hell no. But he should be in the Hall... I'd imagine its because a bunch of traditionalists see his game the same way most of the optimists here do... but the HoF is about accomplishments, not style.
