Okay, so the one time i decide not to watch a game this season, it ends up being the best of the year. Yay me.

The rookie hits his second three-pointer to prolong the game in Seattle against the Denver Nuggets

This performance alone should quiet all the foolishness about who the rookie of the year is.

There's no need to try to trump up a good story by considering other people...

Hands down Durant's rook of the year.

I was at that game....I couldn't believe those clutch threes. I was like, the nuggets are going to take over with 5min left in the game, with threes.....

down 3 with 24 secs to go I was like...luke is going to turn over the ball or kd will get stripped and or blocked....

wow kd proved me wrong....into first OT.

so I was like...no way the sonics can win in OT.

Down 5 with 1 min to go....game basically over. get a bucket and play some d....down 3 and kd nails a deep deep 3...like arenas range...I was like wow...

That was an unbelievably fun game to watch. What got into us, trying to actually win a game and stuff?

hard to believe, but its called progress. the kids are learning and starting to figure some things out. kd, and green being on fire didn't hurt either. entertaining game. wish kc had been calling the game though.

I come to expect a night like this from time to time from Durant, but wow Green has landed. I knew Green had potential to be that do a little of everything specialty player, but damn I didn't expect this sort of outing so soon. The future is bright for the Sonics.

Best game of the season! We saw two future stars showing their potential tonight. Man, it felt great watching those two put on a show like that.

Ridnour and Watson did a good job as well with their mid range pull ups and floaters. Collison solid as always.

I think this game was better. The only really exciting thing I remember about the Atlanta game is the Durant buzzer beater. I think that this game was better because it was higher scoring, it was against a team that really needed a win (to make it into the playoffs) so it mattered, which means it was against tougher competition, and most of all, this game really showcased our rookies.

Well for myself I kind of liken the Atlanta game to the first time you had sex.

It probably wasn't that great but it's something you'll never forget.

Now do you rember the second time you had sex? Probably not in the same way as the first time.

The Atlanta game was crazy back and fourth with Wilkins going off for 41 pts (then never heard from again during this season). Then KD for the WIN not the tie over Horford.

I can see your point with this being a better game double OT but when Durant hit the game winner in Atlanta (and I'm not lieing here) I squeeled a sound I didn't know I was capable of.

When Durant hit that shot last night as he let it go I'm thinking "that's not the kind of look we were hoping for, there goes another good effort down the toilet" and then swish. I was more in shock than excitement.

Either way still a great game.
