He is HORRIBLE on defense. One of the worst I have ever seen actually.

there was a post asking who would we (the magic fans) prefer, Luke or Jameer? I stated Jameer fit the system better because of his speed and his ability, and when he plays PG instead of SG we stand a better chance of winning...and then I pointed out that Luke has his upside with exception to this season, he's taller, a better defender than Meer when it primarily steals and contesting (prior to this season) and is more of a natural shooter...

and it took off from there...

they are both probably some of the worst defenders for the PG position along with Calderon. I have no idea why you guys signed Jameer to that extension. Maybe you can trade Rashard Lewis to the Raptors for Ford/calderon and contract filler. It would help you both. Magic get a real PG, and the Raptors can complete their dream of having a team full of soft big men who do not play in the paint.

Wtf are you taking about. I took no1 words. I didnt even MENTION Thief at all. He didnt want an unbiased poll so he jumped in, made the thread about comparing Luke to Jameer so he could move it here.

The fact that Thief thinks Luke ridnour "is a better shooter and PG" than jameer is laughable as well. Luke's best shooting year is hardly as good as jameers career averages and doesnt even TOUCH jameers best year.

Yeah no kidding, but apparently he got a couple steals two years ago which makes him a good defender

I thought he was supposedly a good defender on Seattle when Nate was still coach and they had that really good year. He sucks on defense now though.
