I saw Calipari answering questions after the game and he said that the intention was to foul after Kansas got past half court, but obviously the players weren't listening to him because no player on Memphis tried to reach in and Rose actually backed off as Collins fell with body language to the refs saying i didn't foul.

Calipari did have timeouts left, maybe he should have used one after the Rose free throw so that his players were sure about what to do.
