"It's inspiring to me," Livingston said. "And it also sheds some light and hope on coming out and playing."

Livingston said he was a bit concerned about his contract situation. "At the end of the day, I just want to play. In another sense, I'm not really worried about it because . . . when I feel I'm 100%, I can play wherever," he said. "It's just that I'd like for it to be here. This is where I started. This is where I'd like to continue and help this team to great heights."

The Clippers also could try to secure his return for less than the qualifying offer. Other teams probably would be hesitant to extend significant offers because of his history of injuries.

"I've seen him do things on the court -- non-contact things -- that I didn't know I would see: speed, quickness, agility, that type of thing," said Coach Mike Dunleavy. "But the last question for us is durability [and] building the muscles up."

Also, Kaman officially ended any hopes to return this season. He will sit out the remaining 5 games.

I hope Shaun is able to come back and I do want us to keep him. I'm glad that he wants to stay as well, in the best no one wanted to play for the Clippers and we let free agents walk. From these past few seasons it seems like it's a much better place to play, and players actually want to play here.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Anybody know where the Clips are gonna be playing summer league? Is it Vegas again? I'm thinking it might be fun to hit up LV and see some of Livingston's action while I'm in the neighborhood.

Dr. Andrews examination revealed that Livingston still has some tendinitis that is showing improvement. He will be allowed to pick up the intensity of his on-court workouts by the end of the season. Livingston will continue to maintain strength work and progress with his workouts.

Should be Vegas. This year it'll be from July 11-20th.

I think he'll be here next season. I have no clue how the contract situation will play out though. $5.8M seems like a lot right now. I don't think that too many other teams would throw too much money/years atm given his injury history. Best bet for both may be a 2-year incentive laden contract where if he meets a certain amount of games played then he'll get more. By the end of the 2 years he'd be 25 and if he holds up strong then ink him to a bigger long-term deal. I'm definitely rooting for this guy though. I believe he'll make a full recovery and exceed expectations, and I'm hoping that he's able to be a key player for us for the future.

I would love to have livingston back in a clippers uniform. he is truly a competitor and an insipiration to all athletes. if he comes back and becomes an all star we all know he can become that truly would be amazing. I wish we sign him to a deal so we can have him back, but if not I truly wish him the best in his NBA career and I will always be rooting for him. He is a BALLER that is for sure.
