4/8 @ the O vs. the Nugget-killas

The Nuggets tank another one to a crappy team - Sonics take them down in 2 overtimes. Must have been tiring.

"So you're saying there's a chance!"

This is a must-win in all aspects.. Sacto will be wanting to shut us out of the playoffs, and Denver's going up against the Clippers before our showdown.

Keys to the game:

- Keep Kevin Martin on the dribble. He's a much better shooter as a catch and shoot.

- Find Tay and get the hell out of his way.

- Fast hooks: Don't let our chuckers get in a chucking rhythm

- The Queens inside presence is Brad Miller and Mikki Moore, so attack the rim and get them in foul trouble

Ugh...can we have Mistatwo do all game threads unless he says that he cannot?

Not that this one is horrible, despite him mocking our own players with the words "chucker" and alluding to "first ballot", but it just doesnt feel right when other people do it.

+1 for the Queens picture, though.

^^ this actually is the Kings game thread. he's just calling the Kings "Nugget-killas" because they beat the Nuggets the other night.

Clever game thread. It's always good to have different people doing these. Always appreciate the effort.

I love the Lt. Dan nickname. That really should stick. They should roll Al out to center court in a wheelchair for the jump balls when Dre doesn't start.

Mickael Pietrus is not officially back from his strained right groin and hamstring, but he looked impressive at times in his first major workout with teammates since going out March 22.

His availability tonight will depend on how he feels when he wakes up.

"It bothered me a little bit, but that's why I got drafted by the Warriors - because I'm a warrior," Pietrus said.

Kind of encapsulates his career...

i read that article too NuWarriors. i thought it was funny when he said the warriors drafted him cause he is a warrior. and that soldiers go through pain. i never thought of MP as a "warrior" but more of a pansy. j-rich was a true warrior

i doubt mickael suits up tonight.

Did he actually say that? What a boob. Maybe AI isn't who I think. Maybe AI is actually Pete from his hospital bed?
