No i am not a suns fan but i would think Shaq and Amare would dominate in the playoffs. Pretty much abuse Mr Softy and (http://youtube.com/watch?v=za08zWrZ-QE). None the less, only way Lakers win is if Lamar has career numbers.

BTW, what would be Gasols batting average if you assumed playoff wins as hits.

Nice video... I like this one better though

Why would you assume Gasol's playoff wins as hits? That doesnt even make sense.... As a fan of basketball you should know that you can put up amazing numbers and that doesnt mean **** for the team... Ask McGrady or Garnett... Gasol got his but he played on a crappy team.. He doesnt have to worry about that anymore... But if thats the only lame excuse you can come up with, I guess you have no other choice but to keep using it until you get proven wrong in the playoffs

You can't use past success to determine future success. Some Laker fans have claimed that Boston and their fans are scared to play the Lakers, but it's safe to say that the Celtics have matched up better against the Lakers than any other team. Quick point guards have given the Lakers problems, so they'll have to focus on Rondo as much as any of the other 3. Stats posted have shown Garnett has done very well against Gasol historically. Perkins has defended Bynum very well. Bynum is not a top-notch Center if he's not able to dunk constantly, and that is what has happened. If you're going to be consistent, the Celtics should be the big favorites in a Championship series if they play based on their 20 and 13 point victories.

I'd actually like to see a Suns-Lakers series. I predicted before the season the Suns defeat Boston in the Championship, and I still think there's a possibility of it. It'd be nice to see Nash win a Championship if it's not Boston, and hopefully that triple overtime classic(still considered the greatest NBA game by many people) can be repeated. Hopefully the Lakers players will have the same opinion some of the Lakers fans have on this board. The Suns would win in 5 if that's the case.

Why do people keep making sound as if the Lakers will be unstoppable once Bynum comes back? The guy will be coming back from an injury, hasn't played with Gasol yet, he will have to shake the rust that builds up after being away for as long as he's been, plus he's still a very young and relatively unexperienced player.

Bynum will be coming off the bench when he comes back and will probably have little impact in the first round.

I agree ^.

In general the Lakers decent amount of relative youth and inexperirence in relation to the playoffs is getting overlooked in being a question mark. It may matter, or may not.

Especially assuming the Lakers get deep into it.

The Lakers will win because at best Aura and Snaq cancel Gasol and Bynum out and Kobe Bryant can't be stopped.

Yeah let's not forget that Phil Jackson is a better coach than Mark D'Antoni.

I think you meant to say:
