We now control our own destiny

Post#1 » by pooteeweet » Wed Apr 9, 2008 2:28 am

With NO's loss tonight, we now control our own destiny. Win out, and the #1 seed is ours.

What did I tell you. UN FRICKEN BELIEVABLE.

Lakers can't catch up to New Orleans. And now we're gonna get Phoenix in the first round and San Antonio will get homecourt against us if we even make the 2nd round.

Letting Brandon Roy get that and 1 at the end just might have screwed us over for the year.

Perimeter defense is our achilles heal. Has been the last three seasons. We won't go to the second round if we play defense like this. We really need Ariza to come back. Now.

Players like CP3, Roy, Davis, Nash, Iverson will have their way with this type of d.

IMO getting the first seed depends on Dallas beating New Orleans now.

Third seed would be fine with me. A healthy Lakers team can compete anywhere.

I don't want to see Nash in the 1st round, they got our # the past couple of years.

i'm more concerned about the health of the team, more than who we play

Last night's loss was on me. Sure, I could blame it on lack of intensity, lack of hustle, lack of defense, and lack of urgency, but the real culprit was me and my kiss of death. My bad.

If Lakers win out they get the 2 seed. I think Houston fade and will be the 6th seed. In the end you have to beat whoever you match up with. Besides no team in the west is a gimme unlike the east.

IMO 57-25 is a powerful record.

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
