Na I think it has to do more with the pathetic defense Lakers play!

How is that good defense?

Roy shot a high percentage, dropped 23 points and his 12 assist were due to Kobe's inability to stay in front of him. His teammates had to help out and there man was wide open.
I guess the same way people think of Battier as a kobe stopper when Kobe dropped 30 and 45 on him on the first 2 games of the season. :dontknow:

B-Scott:

Why do you consistently go after Kobe when he has a below average game? Why don't you ever call out Odom when he does?

Your constant attacks on Kobe is the reason no one on the Lakers board takes you serious in anything Kobe-related. Seriously.

No, Kobe didn't play particularly well on the defensive end. There were stretches where he had Roy on lock down, but with the game on the line, he didn't do a good job of keeping Roy in front of him. However, that gives you no right to go off and blame the entire defensive collapse on one player. The bottom line is that Odom did not come through either, and that is just as big of a reason for the loss. Our bigs, in general, did a poor job on help defense and boxing out. There is no way in hell we should have been out-rebounded that badly.

The key word there is "we", so stop trying to pin everything on one player.
