missing FT strategy

Post#1 » by SamBone » Wed Apr 9, 2008 12:42 pm

Am I the only person that thought this was a stupid strategy. If min did not have a TO it makes sence, but with a TO, you just leave the door open. Once again Sam proves that he is not an NBA coach

Wait a minute - we were up by 2 before the free throw and only one seciond left?
Am i missing something? Or is it just a Lee complex?

If they had time to shoot from 19 feet they had enough time to attempt a three...

It was a stupid call by Vincent.....if you make it then you guarantee you can't lose in regulation and force them into taking a 3pt shot. Minnesota got a great look to tie the game.....stupid call.

That's what I'm thinking too. Big Al had enough time to catch, turn and shoot the mid range J. He hits that and there is no Bobcats win, there is no OT.

Why on earth would you choose to let the other team try and win the game rather than putting your team in a position to at least go to OT but more than likely win?

Idiot.

Not true. 3 and one can happen (sometimes). Very unprobable with one second left.[/quote]

easy strategy, make the FT to go up 3. Foul as soon as they inbound the ball. Game over

Not to mention you can hit the rim easier when you haven't to be scared it could go in.

I don't believe how absurd sentence I've just wrote.

I have to agree, if Minny didn't have a timeout...ok. But don't give them a chance to throw up a shot and win.

oh well
