Not an I blame Eddie but just an observation.
If he plays starters heavy minutes might we infer he's practiced them hard the days since the last game over the weekend?
If so, I wonder how hard other teams go in practice that are also playoff bound? Since most of them are resting their starters in preparation for the playoffs, I'd assume they're walking in practice.
Not colliding with teammates to the point of injury.

I was wondering the same thing about practice but didn't want to start into anything that seemed negative about EJ.
Today is the day. Huge game tonight. Lots to evaluate about this team.
Though no one game makes or breaks a season, this one is huge.
We have a lot of gelling to do in a short period of time.
EJ has a lot of his plate. Hopefully he come up with a good game plan and gets his players in at the right time and in good combinations. So much to look at in this one.
Is CB ok?
How does AJ recover ?
Will GA produce another high assist game like against Miami ?
Is NY ready to contribute in prime time ?
Will AB continue to produce running with GA ?
Will we start to see the return of better D ?
I think we should see good results regarding all these issues and I think we can take them, again.
My biggest concern is the D. You have to look at what players and what style we were playing when we played our best D.

Caron Butler and Darius Songaila collided during practice today and sustained what the team hopes are minor injuries. Butler is day-to-day with a bruised right knee and Songaila is day-to-day with a mild left ankle sprain. X-rays on Butler's knee were negative (meaning no serious damage) but he was said to be walking with quite a limp after practice.

Hopefully this is not an issue for tomorrow or for the playoffs. We just refuse to get 100% healthy - the curse lives on.
Didn't read that until this morning, just shook my head. Caron, what are we going to do with you man?

I know Eddie gave the team Monday off, and you don't need to be practicing terribly hard to have a freak collision with someone. It doesn't sound to me like Eddie is running the guys too hard.

Actually we played them 20 minutes that game.
The game before we DNP-CD them.
Right now were at the stage of trying to get our bench players to do something [with Tony Allen not recovered it's been ugly because all we have our defenders or 3 point shooters and our backup bigs offensive talent extends to layups
So were putting them in tougher situations to try and see if they can form something and improve themself while resting the Big 3. One or maybe even 2 of the Big 3 should play >30 minutes tonight. Anymore then that and were not doing what were suppose to.
We played our bench last night to the point MIL took them to overtime! So wins aren't exactly that high on our list.

I actually would feel more confident if your team played your Big 3 more. The Wiz tend to play harder when there is more of a challenge. Based on past history, I can see the Wiz losing to Boston's bench. We always play down to the level of competion.

Not sure if that is true from a talent stand point or it has to do with some of the worst teams were really quick and we didn't adjust with match ups. Either way, we have an added spark now because we have GA active.
I wouldn't look to much to the past when he wasn't active to determine what will look like moving forward.
