Didn't Wilt and Russell settle this argument a long time ago?

You're right they are borderline starters and perhaps even starters on many teams (at least Bukie and Pietrus), however what I was trying to convey is not on the Warriors unless there was some sort of an injury. The reason for this is that we have Baron, Monta and Jackson who obviously should be starters at the 1, 2 and 3 positions. When Jack was out for 6 games at the beginning of the season, that's the only time that any of those guys should have been starters imo but more importantly (which I think is the crux of my post) if they did start, it should not have been at the 4, but should have been at the 3 or even 2 quite possibly (at least in Bukie's case). Those 3 got a total of 51 starts this year, most of which was at the 4 (and maybe even a couple at the 5) which is what I object to. There were much better options for us there but because of someone's small ball fetish (I won't mention any names) we basically have shot ourselves in the foot. We all seem to agree (at least those of who haven't drank the koolaid) that we would be a significantly better team at this point, had we more balance and utilized our height better.

That's important to note.
51 starts is a lot for that talent pool. Too much for any other playoff team.

1. Physical talent doesn't equal good defense. You need the will and knowledge of the scheme. There were players before with Wright's talents and not all of them turned out to be great defenders.
2. Face the facts, this team isn't winning a championship with the current lineup. Not after 10 years of being the bottom feeder. If Nelson played Andris, Wright, and POB at the same time and fed them the ball every time that wouldn't change, what would change is that we wouldn't have a chance to make the playoffs.
3. I never said Wright can't guard SF, I said he can't play SF because he doesn't have an outside shot.

Says he's playing with confidence and put up good numbers in the D-league.
Said he'll look at him in practice today to see if they can use his LENGTH.
Look for Nellie to be a little tipsy in practice today and start CJ at center against the Nugs.
