If we don't win tonight, I believe this would be the only team in NBA we would have a losing record against. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but it would still be nice to not have a losing record against anyone. I think Doc will take the game a little more seriously than the rest. Not so much for the losing rcord part but because it's a game with playoff seeding implications for Philly and Cleveland as well as Washington.

Butler is so much like Pierce. Just doesn't have the 3 point shot that Pierce does other then that there pretty much the same people.

Paul's much more talented. Plus he's a beast. No one can stop him. Caron's pretty good, but he's not at Pierce's level.

butler is probably a more pure shooter, while peirce is a better "scorer"

I think the exact opposite Darth.

Paul's form doesn't look pretty. But neither does Butler. Paul actually has a stroke from 3 whereas Butler just bulldozes like Pierce does. Butler's points are all "scorers" points because they all involve him using his bulk and handle to outposition his man.

Butler doens't have the diversity of being a shooter but Pierce as the main option on our team the last 3 years didn't have the opportunity to use his 3 point shooting anyways. If Pierce were on the Wizards without Gilbert instead of Butler I think they would be very similar with Pierce being better just because of the better threat he is from teh perimeter.

Butler is one of a handful of players that have just as much Bulk and size as Pierce with control enough to drive to the lane consistently.

I just wanted to say sorry if I was a dick in the past to you. We are usually on the same page about things. Best of luck in the future my man.

Wiz fan here and I think your wrong on this. I dont blame you though because thats the way most think about Caron because they dont get to see him much and they just know him for his physical play but he shoots more jumpers probally then anyone in the leauge. His stroke is pure. He's probally the best 2pt jump shooter in the leauge right now and while he didnt use to have 3pt range, he has gained it over the last 2 years and is pretty much money from down town now. He also has been top 5 in the leauge in FT shooting the past 2 years. His stroke is much better then people think.

This isnt about Pierce. He's also a great shooter and a beast pure scorer but Caron's J is money and he uses it way more then he drives. One thing strange about Caron's J is that he always pump fakes before he shoots. Its not the kind of pump fake to get you in the air but its more like a hesitation. He seems like he never feels comfortable shooting the ball immediatly. Its so weird. I dont even know how he makes it. Its such a low percentage shot but he always hits it even with a man right in his face

I think this will be a good game tonight. I dont know what to expect from you guys. I think you will probally stay the same and play the big 3 only like 20min so thats why I think we will win this one. It sounds like Gil will still be coming off the bench this game but may see an increase in minutes over the 20 he's played in the previous 2. Surprisingly, Gil has looked like a beast since coming back. In 20mpg he's averaging 15pts, 5ast, and 3bds while shooting 49% and has made 5 triples. He looks like he's been playing all year and is in MVP type form. Thats why I would like to see him start tonight but I think they'll wait a couple of more games.

Obvisouly we need this game more then you. Were still trying to catch the Cavs for the 4 seed and hopefully see you guys in round 2. We also play Detroit & Philly in our next 2 so we really need to win this one but I also wouldnt be opposed to falling to 6 spot. I think we will beat the Cavs or Magic but I would rather play Detroit in the 2nd round instead of you guys.

KG better AT LEAST get Defensive player of the year! he's the leader of the league's best defense, & the C's have the best D b/c of him.

either MVP or DPOY

Our defense looks like crap today.

Let's look good for the national TV audience.

Return to Boston Celtics
