With all due respect....we gotta step up the D

Post#1 » by Manly35 » Wed Apr 9, 2008 12:31 pm

I loved last nights' game and I loved the win but.....we can't play like we did last night against the Nuggets. They have too many weapons and everyone better know that Melo and AI are gonna be lookin to have HUGE
games against us. Honestly, I don't think us being home even helps that much. We have to defend, rebound and anticipate (if that's possible)
This team is determined to give me an ulcer........

Oh yeah...nice to see Jax warming up.......we're gonna need him !

This is the Nugs who lost at home to an Artest-less Kings and to the 2nd worst team in the L in two consecutive nights?

They are the team which we fear from in our home? :-?

yea,the same denver nuggets who beat gs a little over a week ago...the same nuggets who came to the bay and beat the warriors earlier this season,so please don't get it twisted!

this is going to beat a great game...emotions are going to be running high and a usually up and down game imo will become a very physical game, here's to hopeing that the refs let both teams play and decide it on the court!

btw:i'm a big b-diddy fan so I always kinda root for you guys...but not thursday lol!!!!

Our starting 5 came out and played excellent team D... Jax at least showed up defensively last night.

Our bench was brutal.... letting Garcia/Douby/Salmons/Udrih get the better of us... Croshere + Wright were the only people off the bench who really helped out at all...

Those 2 should be first off the bench against DEN... but we'll likely see Pietrus after his over-emphatic ESPN plays...

I'm pretty new to posting on RealGM, but this past week, new members of RealGM have been popping out faster than Britney's kids.

With all due respect?! No respect should be givin to the Warriors players on defense. Its absolutlety a pain to watch these guys play defense...Sure jackson is a solid defender and baron/ellis get plenty of steals...but the team defense is horrible. I turn off the tv watching them play defense allowing other teams to walk down the middle and get layups and easy buckets.

OK then. How about the W's play good defense and give the Nuggets no respect? I can live with that.

I agree. Warriors need to pick it up on D. We can't let their bench players go off.
