I don't know guys, but the way I see it, the Hawks are likely to go 2-2 in their remaining games. Most likely scenario would be 1-3, out of the playoff picture.
Maybe it's just me. If I'm that pessimistic though, i would predict a 0-4 finish.

... and you are optimistic about the Pacers chance to finish better than 2-2?

Oh, if the Hawks are smart (which they aren't) they will get rid of Bibby in the offseason. He losses as many games with his poor shooting as he does hitting big shots. The lost the first Philly game due to his extremely poor shooting. That game was almost 100% on him.
---and you will more than likely make the playoffs anyway (I want the Pacers in the lottery)--but you just got handed your arses and lost the season series to that "crappy nearly all white boy team" (getting VERY tired of hearing that clearly demeaning RACIST phrase on this board), and you have won exactly two more and lost two less games this season than that crappy team, and that crappy team has been playing for most of the season without its major post presence and its starting point guard. So tell me--why do you feel that the Hawks are so much better that you evidently don't believe the Pacers even were worthy of being on the same court with them? With a healthy Jermaine available most of the season, you would quite probably be looking up at them in the standings, not down, and the playoff question would be moot.
Not putting down your team--you have some very niice players and are definitely on the way up, and you can obviously play better than you did last night.--but lets not have any of this stuff that you are so superior to that "crappy nearly all white boy team." You're not, and the results of last night's game and the standings verify that.

I wish we could put a disclaimer on that guy.
We all have him on ignore.
He doesn't think the Hawks are so much better than the Pacers, he thinks both teams suck. Which, to his credit, isn't entirely untrue.
I'm suprised he hasn't been banned yet but I don't particularly care.

Yeah ignore him. I think about 90% of this board has him on ignore. I only see his posts when someone else quotes them, it appears they aren't getting much more insightful.

Actually, I think both teams have pretty decent cores to build around, though ours is obviously older than yours, and we are more cap strapped and thus have morework to do. I think Dunleavy, for instance, has surprised everyone, and I like Danny and Shawne. Murph is overpaid, but he's been coming along and producing more like the regular double-double player he was when he first came into the league--and actually forgetting himself from time to time and playing some defense...

I also don't go along with the criticism of Bibby. Anyone can have a crappy night. When he's on his game, he's a very very good PG.
I wish you luck in the playoffs, because I think that'swhere you're going to end up. Like I said, I want the Pacers in the lottery. They have really good backups at PG in Denier and now Flip. but we really need a good young NBA starting-caliber PG. Tinsley is frustrating--he has the talent, but he's not got the head for it, and he's about as popular in Pacerland as a plugged-up toilet.
