I wonder what would have happened if Amare as he is today was time warped to late 80's/ early 90's.

Scottie easily, I don't think Stoudemire's career will be better than Scottie's either.

It depends on the team I'm constructing in all honesty.

Pippen without hesitation.

Amare's great for what he is, but Pippen's an awesome all-around player. And naturally growing up a Bulls fan, I have the connection to him, being one of my favorites of all-time.

Where did this odd, obvious comparison come from?

a) Where does this comparison come from?
b) Pippen was arguably a top 5 SF of all time, and was definitely one of the most well rounded ever. He and Amare are similat offensively, but on d, its a slaughter.

Until Amare becomes a 2 way player you have to take Pippen.
