If no defense Korver can get big minutes on the Jazz just b/c he can shoot...Novak should be given the same chance on the Rockets. I think the problem with Novak is that he is a tweener so it could hurt our rebounding if we have to put him at PF. I would just play him at SG or SF depending on who the opponent is. The thing is that he probably won't play with our best playmaker who is McGrady unless he plays PF and that hurts us.

53rd win of the season and in great fashion without Mac.
Yep thats 3 of the last 4 with 51, 52 and 53 wins. I wouldn't be surprised if we lost the rest of our games just to keep that sequence going.

It was the Sonics. In Houston. If we didn't win it would have been a problem. Lets not get carried away against a good game against one of the worst defensive teams in league history.

Yeah, those are some good points. Still got a way to find 20+ minutes for him, his shooting could be real valuable to us like it's been with Korver and the Jazz, considering he's easily our best shooter.

Sonic beat Nuggets a few days ago. They can surprise and Rockets rout them and not a ground-out win like they did previously. Yes not to be carry away but this display show they are closer to that 22 win streak form.

Defensively I dunno. But I agree with you on the shooting front. Our shooting is getting back to where it was during the streak.

I agree with you completely, but do you remember what happened last season against Boston with Yao and Mac out? We even had a capable 20+ point scorer in Bonzi starting, and we lost. It just shows the leaps and bounds this team has made, and how (when fully healthy) we could possibly be a legitimate contender. But everyone better get healthy fast because if we want to face Utah with HCA then we're going to need to play well in the last 4 games of the season.

yeah, novak is too slow, if only he had more speed and intensity he could be a player who come out from the bench for about 20 minutes and be important, defence is important but not so much, there are big players who don't play defense at all.

we definitely are improving the team every year.

it's easy to not be a liability when there's no one to make you liable
