got to be effects from the cheesy hype with Turiaf to the fact that he would possible negate his laker contract with something that dumb.

He doesn't jump over the middle of the car but his shadow does pass over the car as he jumps. I think it's real... I know it could have been faked but it looks real to me???

He actually just jumps over the extreme passenger side of the car... But other than that... I think he actually did it...

I think he filmed it on his own camera too...

After watching it few times and with slow mo he does not jump over the car, he jumps next to the car and it just looks like he is jumping over the car.

yea looks like he jumps just alil in front of it but he still would clear it easily. But then again i think i would be mad if this was real.

I am pretty sure this is fake. While in theory it wouldnt be to difficult to do if you can jump high and your timing is spot on and the car is going at the right MPH. I dont see Kobe, Nike or the Lakers taking such risks.

why do the commercial? because it gets people to talk about the shoe

did he really jump over the car? no, you pause it and see he was actually off to the side of the car... the sun was behind the camera so the shadow did go over the car... if he actually did it his shadow would not be over the car because it would be on top of the car's shadow...

was it dangerous? no not really because a professional driver can easily keep the aston martin in line and off to the side of kobe and probably practiced mutliple runs to make sure its safe. Was also downhill so the car could accelerate quickly. Also possible it was a CGI.

Of course it ain't real, but it looks real, that's the whole point. Perfect example of viral marketing on the web. If the video looked totally fake or if Kobe jumped over a tricycle, nobody would be talking about it.

It's certainly cooler than, say, Kobe dunking wearing the costume of Blackwolf the Dragonmaster.

Or Dwayne Wade's homo erotic phone calls with Charles Barkley, or Lebron talking to 5 versions of his ego.
