Kobe jumps over a moving Aston Martin! (Don't tell Dr. Buss!

Kobe Bryant is promoting his new shoe, the Hyperdunk. To prove its lightweight nature, I guess, he decides he should jump over an Aston Martin barreling toward him at a speed definitely above 40 mph. Now I'm a huge Kobe and Laker fan, but I think this is kind of crazy. The most ridiculous part of the video is how Ronnie says "We need you for the playoffs."

Now there is the chance that a camera trick is used. It seems like Kobe is closer to the camera and the car is actually further back, but you decide.

Im definitely buyin the shoes as soon as they come out. I was almost ready to buy the Zoom Kobe 3's too, as ugly as they are. Now I actually have a nice lookin shoe to wait for.

I know, Kobe would never risk his life and career for an internet video. It sure looks cool though.

And yes the Kobe 3s are ugly, that's why I'm excited for the Laker edition Hyperdunks. Then I'll be able to jump over a moving car too!!!!

The top of the jump looks so fake.

But I'm sure he could do it if he was dumb enough to try. Lots of NBA players could.

I can't imagine anyone's agent would ever allow them to really try that (especially with someone running a camera), they'd be out millions upon millions of dollars cause I'm sure teams wouldn't cover that. Like when Jason Williams got hurt, basically. But doing this for real would be much, much dumber than that.
