Woeffel tossed the Gherardini reference out about 10 days on a postgame show as some far-fetched speculation, but then in subsequent interviews hasn't has followed up on it at all, leading me to believe that this guy isn't a serious candidate. Rather Woeffel said the focus this week was on the interviews with Gabriel and King.

OK. My memory was faulty in this case. I thought he was one of the many candidates spotted during one of Senator Kohl's cheap business lunches at George Webb's or Chipotle's. He could at least splurge and go to Chili's for once.

My biggest hope is that a GM is hired that Kohl respects enough to stay out of his way. If not, the name of the GM hired isn't overly important.

I found this article which presents another option for the Bucks and there new GM. The article mentions Herb Kohl, but the writer has an obvious bias towards Stanley. Just thought I would post this for any that may like to read.

I vote Hammond.

I think a Hammond/Larry Brown or Hammond/ Rick Carlisle duo could turn around the culture of this franchise fairly quickly if Kohl steps back.

Billy King is a sad panda today.

Edit: Babs too.

I'm going to unsticky this. The tribe has spoken.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Sund and King I would stay away from, although I'd be less likely to jump off a bridge if it were King than if it were Sund. Maybe just a shorter bridge.

I will never claim to be an "insider" to the Bucks, but if I do, remind me of this.
