God, we got cracked. I've been critical of some of Pops moves in the past, sometimes his in game offensiv decisions aren't the sharpest, but he recovers.
He's more strategic than tactical. And it usuallyakes a great team to show it.
watching that game last night reminded me of playing the 04 Malone Payton Shaq Kobe ...lakers. Duncan has two tough matchups offensively and defensively.
Parker panicked like he did against the 04 lakers who clogged the lane and dared him to shoot.

To beat these guys we need a lot to go our way.
Like Manu being on. Duncan has to play 42 minutes. Kurt Thomas has to play how ever many minutes Shaq plays. And Finley has to keep hitting his threes.

The good news is that while their trade clearl helps them against us it doesn't seem to be as effective aainst other teams. Maybe someone else will crack them for us.

Probably because chances are greater of getting the foul yourself when you try and force someone else to commit a foul when they are being extra cautious because of too many fouls.

Ah well loss is easier to take knowing Manu was playing injured and we were without Barry and Horry. In the playoffs we'll be another side with a full strength team.

The Suns impressed the hell out of me. They're a better team for this trade, at least in my opinion.

Still despise them and their fans though.

It wasn't an excuse it was a fact. Another fact is you beat us fair and square. So i'm not making any excuses, just cushioning the blow for myself so i can sleep better at night. :p
