It wasn't just impressive, it was spectacular, but again, he was set up by Nash. Once he gets a running start, he's absolutely unstoppable. However, presurgery, I feel as though he didn't need that start. He could take his defender off the dribble by himself after receiving the ball, facing up, and just slamming it on top of their head without having to come off a pick and roll or a cut.
Basically, I'm saying that the majority of Amare's dunks are assisted now, which I don't remember being the case presurgery.

That performance in the 2nd half was Signature Shaq. Just like he used to do in his prime, defensively and offensively. All of Lakers fans that say that Kobe didn't need Shaq are spoiled and delusional. Shaq was an absolute monster during those years, and could easily drop 30-40ppg on 55% fg when given the shot attempts. What we saw during that game was the exact same thing he did day in and day out for the Lakers.

Yeah, it's fine though. He needed to learn to play without using only his athleticism anyways. He'll be that much better when he's older.

That's Spurs basketball. That's what they do when all is lost. They lost the game, and that's why they want to turn it into a fight. See last years playoffs. They try to sent a message that could carry into the next game. Just when you get comfortable with what was happening in the last few minutes and start to relax a bit, here comes a cheap shot from either Horry or Bowen. Where's the league? Can we get any justice? The game is over and they know it and put that sh*t.
And watch the clip on ESPN, POS Bowen sweeps his leg and trips Nash up while he's in the air. I hate that dirty bastard.

The 2005-06 Suns will always have a special place in my heart

a dirty player for me is the one that tries to annoy the opponent whether by physical or verbal but this bowen is really trying to injure players and what the officials doing?

I've seen him create on his own when he really needs to, he's still got an explosive first step to the basket in those situations.
When Nash is in, why hassle to do it on your own when you could just p-n-r with Nash for an easy dunk, layup?

I was thinking the same thing when i red that post about assisted dunks. We're a team, a five men unit out there...who cares if he has 99,99% dunks assisted??
...
I have the feeling that this is the year, THIS IS THE YEAR, BABY!!!!. My only concern are injuries, NASH in particular. This tough man has played all of the games this season, sometimes with a lot of pain due to his chronic condition. The problem is, I don't see how we can win if we lose him in a serie (I can't imagine Barbosa running the PG for 38 minutes). We don't have a plan B if NASH goes down...that's my only concern.

I'm Mr. Anti-Conspiracy, but the things he does that anger us Suns fans are when he's beat and then tries to injure people.
When he kicked Amare's foot before the jam, last night around the PnR, the kick to Nash; the list is long.
We hate flopping to an extent, but we know that until the League does something about it, that it will be part of the game (that's why we kinda-sorta forgive Raja for it). There's also defenders out there that are a little crazy, like Artest, but that wouldn't generally try to cause major injuries intentionally.
