In case you werent watching Memo was trailing the play and Jones for the most part had a clear path to the basket. Remember when Eddie Jones hit that game winner on us last yr? How you cant blame Boozer who left his man is beyond me.

To be fair, Eddie Jones pulled off one like that on us last year. In fact, when I saw him sprint "openly" cross court I had a flashback on that same play last year.
I think the whole team screwed up. They should have known that Dallas had no timeouts, but they reacted as if Dallas would call a one. That was the game.
All in all, this one hurts, but actually gives me more confidence on our guys to close out both at home strong, and then head into the playoffs on the road (yeah, on the road
Siempre con mi isla del encanto!!

That's on Korver and Boozer, gotta understand the situation.
AT LEAST we got back into the game after being down like 12 or so. That's a road loss I can live with, unfortunately you can say goodbye to the first and probably 2nd and 3rd seed.
We really need to get off to a better start on the road, it really is killin us.

Four things lost us the game tonight:
Korver got hacked by Dirk on a rebound causing a turnover, so a no call.
Deron got nailed by Dampier on a drive in and hit the foul HARD, no call and Deron got shaken up real bad.
The refs changed the right call of the night for the Jazz in the late minutes, of course, mostly inspired by the crowd booing.
And finally, of course, the Jazz's piss poor defense awareness to get back and defend the last seconds of the game.
Refs F***ed us

I cant blame Korver. Its a suicide pill. Pick up the ball or stay on Dirk. Eddie Jones had a pretty clear path to the bucket, I know its Eddie Jones, but still. If the trailing defender was AK, not Memo then I would have let Eddie go.
Its 100% on Boozer, left Dirk open, let dirk get ot the basket on a double team trap and then foul him.
Korver had to stop the ball, its fundamental ball.

If I can put my 3 cents, I think that in basketball, even if you play great, other team will outplay you. And this what happened today.
Boozer just didn't deliver today.
Late in the fourth he cost us couple possessions with his bad D (didn't close the baseline and bumped Dirk for 3 pt play) and inability to overcome Dampier.
But I wouldn't blaim him for Dirk's last shot.
Dirk puled "Dirk" on us.
I'm proud of my Jazz, they started slow (partly due to Deron) and had to scramble for most of the game.
I also wish Kirilenko played longer in the 4th Q.
As much as I hated him for what he did in the offseason, last couple of games he really plays great D and is active on offense.
I'm sure Sloan will correct this soon.
