Mavericks Underrated
I think they are and im not a fan by any means.
*The balance they have is very solid
*Dirk is playin better than ever. His body language says so too.
*Jason Kidd is gelling into their offense and has the fullcourt vision to help them get easier buckets than they have in transition.
*They have proven playoff scorers in Dirk, Terry, Howard, and Stack.
*They have finally showed some resilliency as this season has come to a close.
Prediction- If they dont have to play the lakers i could see them winning the west.

I'd love to play the spurs in the 1st round. They, and Houston, are the best matchups Dallas can hope for. But I don't want to see LA. I want to see Phoenix-LA somehow....like their current standings 3rd vs 6th.AgEnT50 wrote:( If ) the Mavs play the Lakers or Spurs in the 1st round. . .they are going home. . .book it

Yeah, and I didn't see Warriors beating Dallas last year.
This is the year Spurs are bumped in the 1st round..unless they play Denver or Houston.
Well I saw that coming. . .Dallas didn't matchup well w/the Warriors last yr at all from the get go. Not to mention the Spurs bring their A game come playoff time. . .I see the Spurs beating them in 6

Well I wouldn't go as far as say they will win the west.
Mavs still have a lot of weaknesses (from a Mavs fan POV here). Defense, offense down the stretch and coaching are still issues.
Just depends on how well they play. Still too much reliance on Dirk IMO. If Josh Howard, Terry, Kidd and a key bench player all play well, then they can be a threat.

Yes it does since Warriors with Jason richardson has always been a thorn in our side and the Spurs aren't.Blame Rasho wrote:I mean you never thought the Warriors would beat the mavs but now you believe the Spurs can't beat the Mavs... great stuff. Well when you put it like that it makes perfect sense...
