How would you rate Dwayne Wade's season?

Post#1 » by Intensity » Fri Apr 11, 2008 8:31 pm

It's pretty obvious that the Heat have had one of the worst let downs in basketball since Kwame Brown was drafted number 1. Wade has failed to earn a decent record with teammates that included: shaq, ricky davis, haslem, marion, jason williams and dorell wright. It's apparent that Wade cannot carelessly drive through the lane anymore without his body giving up on him, yet he still does not work on his shot. He's an injury away from becoming this generations Grant Hill. Does this season show Wade's inability to lead a team by himself, and/or his game is not up-to par with the other superstars in the league? i.e the kobes and lebrons?

The same way I rated T-Mac's great individual season in Orlando but lost 21 in a row....Crap.

Should be worse than McGrady's 03-04 season.

I wouldn't even want to rate him. He is a turnover machine, and his forte will keep bringing him injuries.

Very boring.

Well originally I was going to give him an I for incomplete, however seeing how he pulled out for the season and then the tanking began, I would rather give him the dreaded W for Withdrawal on his report card.

He had a good season besides the TOs, just cut down on the turnovers.

He was hurt. Bottom line.

Will he come back the same way next year, or will he be the 30/8/5/2/1/50% Wade that was the best player on the planet? We'll see.

Is dismal a number??

Clearly he wasn't right physically, his teammates around him were anything from pathetic or disinterested in this season. Clearly you gotta hope he can just get everything right about him physically for next season and depending on where that leaves him I think he needs to tweak his game some. He really needs to work on to get his shooting to a player where he can reduce some of the hits he takes, if he could get his 3 point shot to where he was at least average he would make the game alot easier on himself.

Wade was never the best player on the planet first of all. And I give him a F for failing to get this team with a decent roster at least a 500 record in the east. Unacceptable

Wade was the best player on his team for one series in the playoffs. It happen to be the finals that they one but other then that it was Shaq's team. Considering he was injured I'd give him a I for incomplete otherwise it's a F-.

He was hurt and his team tanked. Why even bother asking the question. I really want Wade and the Heat to come back strong. Why? Because good teams and good players equal good entertaining basketball.

Wade vs Lebron, Wade vs Kobe, Wade vs Paul

That's entertaining. Especially if the Heat can pull it together. I want the East to get some competitive teams in their conference so we get some entertaining basketball......
I'm so tired of the typical......

Dwayne who? I'm sure next season he and his new team will put up a good performance to bounce back, and strengthened by the draft pick they tanked so well for.

im trying to figure out how the roster is decent...even with Shaq, Haslem, Ricky, Jwill, Wright, Zo all healthy the team started 1-7 without Wade and was the 2nd worst offensive team in the league.

I don't rate individual success in a team sport. Sorry. You can be the best player on the planet but if your team sucks then your season was crap.
