ok no more excuses tmac is having one of his worst years

Post#1 » by tmacformvp06 » Fri Apr 11, 2008 2:38 am

Every month he has gone down hill

Yeh the dude can get to the rim when he wants but he sucks at finishing now. He needs to look to draw contract. He suxs at that and does not get to the ft line.

His jumper also sucks as the year goes on. The first two months of the year his jumper was money he had a 45% FG and it has just gone down hill. Tmac should also be banned from taken more then 3 threes a game. His at his best in the post. Where melo does most his scoring from tmac needs to do that same thing.

Tmac has turned into one of the best offensive players in the league to one of the least efficient. 42% FG 68%FT wtf is up with this dude ft. How does it go from 77% to under 70% in three years. Did he change his form

So WHAT? We are in the playoffs, can't we bring this up at another time. The playoffs are starting next Saturday, judge T-Mac in the playoffs, NOT IN THE REGULAR SEASON.

I think we all agree that McGrady's having a poor season, but since we're in the playoffs, no one's really concerned about it. Let's at least wait until after the playoffs when we can point the finger at McGrady if he falls short of our expectations.

Yeah, I think the playoffs will really determine how well a season he's had or having. I'm disappointed with his percentages too (absolutely pathetic) but while we're winning nobody really looks at that.

T-mac is the best decoy in the NBA. He will always command a double team even if his shot is off. Therefore, he will always be able to make a team full of role players better. Again, T-mac is the only thing standing between us and the lottery -- appreciate him. W/out T-mac we would still be paying the full contract (which Portland is paying) for a broken-down Steve Francis.
2008-09 Championship Depth Chart
1) Ben Gordon/ Aaron Brooks/ Rafer Alston
2)Tracy McGrady/ B. Barry/ V. Wafer
3) Shane Battier/ R. Artest/ C. Hayes
4) Luis Scola/C. Landry/Joey Dorsey
5) Yao/ D. Mutumbo/Sean Williams

At least he's healthy. Hopefully he can come out next season back in form. If not - oh well, at least Yao will be back.

He must be doing something right if we won 53 games so far. People need to stop expecting him to be Kobe or Lebron. Hell, people need to stop expecting him to be T-Mac from 5 years ago.

Bad knee,wrist/thumb injury and bad shoulder. That's no reason not to average a triple double and 50 points a game.
Kobe has 2 All-Stars on his team and will end up winning just a handful of games more than McGrady's Rockets. LeBron has 2 All-Stars on his team and can't even beat out Howard's Magic in the weak East.
And let's all forget that Kobe is an MVP candidate because he's finally doing what T-Mac does-move the ball, trust his teammates.
McGrady is the only player who is routinely double teamed at half-court to get the ball out of his hands. Opposing coaches must be idiots to employ such a strategy if T-Mac is a washed-up bum.
In a recent interview Ak-47 was asked who was the toughest to defend and T-Mac was the second player he named after Kobe.

The only thing that I hate about Tracy is his FG percentage

53 games. 20 game winning streak. Top 10 in MVP watch and most likely the voting once it's released. Playoffs in the most stacked Western conference in a long time.

I'd say he's done okay.
