Part of being a MVP is creating easy scoring opportunities for teammates and not just being a scorer only. There have been many scorers in the NBA the last 40 years. Pete Maravich averaged 30 a game

Right now Kobe is looking like a scorer ONLY and Chris Paul is getting everyone involved.
