Rockets getting disrespected

Post#1 » by Storm Surge » Sat Apr 12, 2008 3:49 am

The rockets just wrecked the suns but I still see everybody wanting to play us in the playoffs cause we would be the easiest team to beat.

You people better recogize this team is a legit 2nd round threat. When Yao retrns next season we will be the odds on favorites to win it all.

To be fair, almost all players qualify as both here at RGM.

Easy there buddy. One good win doesn't mean we can win 4 against the likes of Utah, SA, PHX or Dallas (teams we'll probably face in the first round). I am as much of a Rocket fans as anybody..but I don't get carried away with 1 game greatness. That doesn't translate to winning 4 of 7 against the same team.

Everybody wants us b/c they feel that in a 7 games series they can stop our one guy more so than we can stop their 2 or 3 guys. Honestly....they have a point so give it a rest with the whining.

The Hawks just beat the Knicks in their house but you don't see me making any threads asking for respect.

Yea bro some Rocket fans get carried away. Respect is earned in the playoffs not in regular season wins.

No you won't. Respect is EARNED in the playoffs. And when the Rockets finally make the second round, people will say "about time" not congratulations.

i think the rockets are tremendous at team play on both offense and defense. that balance makes them dangerous. i do believe they are overachieving this year, but i see no reason that cant continue a round or two in the playoffs.

i credit adelman a lot

can everyone stop complaining about respect, it seems just about every playoff team in the west has fans complaining about respect along with half the east too.

Yep Rocket fans have been quite dumb this year with their thread creating on the GB. Yao got injured last time these idiots that represent our fan base posted something like this.

You actually believe the threads created on RGM has any baring on Yao's chance of injury? Let the rockets be the underdog, it will make me even more happier when they win
