I agree, and Peja hitting those contested threes, what can you do? Hornets have the best rec in the west for a reason.

We got the job done.

Loved he defensive plays. We match up well against them but then again, they are the best in the West now and we beat them fair and square.

Kobe 4 MVP!

Damn, Peja is the best shooter in the league bar none. He must have made like 25 3s in the 3 games they played us.

I am too competitive to settle for a "Hold on" win. I haven't been this upset with a win like tonight in quite sometime. Its better than a Loss but I can't be happy about the 2nd half. If anything the Hornets have all the confidence in the world should we play in the playoffs.

all i gotta say, farmar and radmanovic should not be in the same league as kobe, paul, lebron etc.... they should play with the likes of koby karl, (cant think of any other d-leaguers)....

Well Miles, my only respose to that is 7 TO's in the 3rd Q and 36 3 pt shots attempted. We did everything we could to piss this game away.

Sorry to sound so negative but I see no true killer instinct or maturity in this team. Not yet.

Great win and i think the MVP came down to this particular game. id give Kobe the MVP for this game and performance.

My concern for the playoffs is Kobe's lack of quickness lately. He's not looking very quick at all. More of a jump shooter

Still he played a great all around game and made the necessary passes out of double teams.

We're playing against the Hornets, the team with the best record in the West, did you really think we were 30 points better then them. Did you really think they'd roll over and play dead. Come on. No doubt are team has issues, but to expect them to hold on to such a large lead against such a good team. Most teams would've called the quits after letting them back within 10, but every time they came close, we extended it to a 10-15 lead. That's what contenders do.

dallas game? that's 1 game though, I can counter that with the bobcat game.

I meant overall he's not like he was in the past.

I hope he comes back in the playoffs

today's game ball goes to Kobe and Fisher and gasol. Kobe's kobe. Gasol answer's his call out on defense and Fisher despite getting called for some chippy foul calls and blown lay ups he did terrifc guarding and frustrating cp3. 4/14 by cp3 thats good boy.

That is the understatement of the year. Combined that with no defense leads me to not believe in these guys in the playoffs. Of course I want to be wrong.

at least fish was staying in front of paul . . . farmar's d is very shmushesque and i don't think it will get much better
His foot work is all screwed, defense is about playing angles and making the player go where you want him to go. Jordan just doesn't get it yet I'm hoping he will down the line.

You guys are forgetting, we're missing a major piece of our team in Andrew Bynum.

When was the last time we played consistent defense? With Andrew Bynum.

We have to beat teams with offense, and that's just our structural limitations until Bynum comes back. The Spurs have Duncan, the Hornets have Chandler, Denver has Camby, Houston has Mutumbo, Boston has KG, etc.

Gasol, last block on David West aside, just isn't the presence that Bynum is.

Since Bynum went out and since Gasol's return, we've been winning on superior offense. I'm not surprised at all that we give up big leads, that's part of the territory (like the Suns of the past).

We could do a better job making better decisions on offense though, there's no excuse for that.

A win is a win, and this is a big win for us. Now we have to hope that the Hornets lose one more game while we win our two remaining games to take the nr 1 seed.
