Right now Kobe is looking like a scorer ONLY and Chris Paul is getting everyone involved.

Kobe needs to get in the paint

Its hard for your teammates to get layups if you cant get in the paint

But nice try. And I can care less who you think should be MVP, the last few weeks you have been literally campaigning against Kobe winning the MVP, what happened to that sig of yours where you mocked Kobe as being an MVP type player. The only reason you say it now is because you would look like an idiot if you said otherwise.

No, Kobe's not as athletic as he was when he was 19 years old. He also has less hair. So? You also want to know a few more differences?

He also has 10+ years experience. He also has far more maturity. He's also playing a floor game that is superior to any previous year - in Phil's own admission. He's never been a better teammate, he's never been a better leader, and he's never been a better player.

If athleticism was all there is to a player, Harold Miner would be in the Hall of Fame.

Yeah, Jordan in his 30s was less athletic than his 20-year-old self. Was he any less of a player, wasn't he still the best player in the league?

kobe led us to victory? any field goals in the 4th outside of that dunk?

anyway, I thought fisher hit some big shots that slowed their momentum down, nobody was doing it.

exactly...

so if bscott is saying kobe isn't as quick as he used to be (getting older, surgery after surger) then why is anyone arguing with him? I thought was bscott said was quite clear.

*sighs*

I and others are laughing at the notion that anyone would draw comparisons of a 22 year old to a 29 year old.

Actually i had Kobe as my MVP up until the Memphis and Charlotte losses.

He earned it back

Whats wrong with having a player as your MVP and him losing it temporarily and then earning it back.

I dont see anything wrong with that

Im not arguing it at all.

Its the fact that its his "concern" that brought me to reply to it.

I guess if natural aging is the only concern with Bryant, we're all in a good situation.

You don't think his driving when everybody else was taking jumpshots was anything? How about drawing critical fouls on key opponents, and getting to the foul line?

And yeah, some other players hit key shots, but didn't Kobe create shots for them, didn't he keep trusting his teammates through thick and thin, didn't he get 8 assists? Or is that meaningless?

For a supposed Laker fan, you seem to be unusually intent on discrediting Kobe Bryant - and have been since you joined RealGM.

That's because it's obvious, but the only people who are using that as a pretext to diminish Kobe Bryant are you and B-Scott.

How come after every Laker game (Win or Lose) B Scott & OC Brandon MUST argue against the rest of the board about Kobe?

I thinks oc brandon does it just to get under people's skin, BS actually believes what he says(now that's a scary thought).
